Please note that although I have given model designations to the bayonets, these do not necessary conform to an official designation, this is due to the fact that most bayonets in the early periods of British military service were referred to as old or new patterns, or by their blade length. However to aid the modern collector in recognizing the different patterns used by Britain, designations have been given relating to were ever possible there initial date of service.
